You will study the historical, social, aesthetic, industrial and economic pressures that have shaped film.
Why study this course with us?
Our course examines key films, movements and moments in film history and there are also opportunities for students to pursue topics that interest them from particular film genres to renowned directors.
Whilst the programme is largely theoretical, students have the opportunity to demonstrate an understanding of theory through creative film practice via the design or creation of basic artefacts such as scripts, storyboards and short films.
The course can be combined with a variety of complementary subjects on the Warrington Campus.

My name is Kavisha Prince Anthony, and I always had a dream of studying abroad. Thankfully, that dream came to life since I applied to the Study Advisor. I was able to receive my visa within four days. I also had some visa refusals in the past; I had about six UK visa refusals in the past, but thankfully, it was not an issue since the Study Advisor was able to make things work this time. I highly recommend Study Advisor for your dreams of going abroad, whether it be the UK or any other European country there is.
