This master’s degree aims to equip you with the professional and technical skills needed to specify, design, develop and test modern software systems in a variety of different contexts and organizational settings.
You will study in our modern Engineering and Computing Building with well-equipped laboratories and industry standard software.
Course information
The course has been designed for those with some, or good, previous experience of programming, and for those who would like the opportunity to pursue employment or further research in software systems development.
The degree combines theories and practices in the design and development of software systems. It covers a wide range of key topics which aim to reflect the latest technologies and employment trends, including software architecture solutions, database management and big data, security, web and mobile applications development, cloud deployment and agile principles.
