This programme requires International students who need a Tier 4 visa to obtain an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate. Because there is not enough time to get this and get a visa before the September 2019 entry point we are unfortunately not able to take any further applications for September 2019 from International students who will require a Tier 4 visa. Our Biomedical, Biomechanics and Bioelectronics Engineering MSc degree focuses on advancing and updating your knowledge in biomechanics, biofluid mechanics and bioelectronics.

With our strong industry links, some projects are provided by hospital consultants and are based on solving practical biomedical problems and challenges.
You will have access to fully equipped laboratories, with excellent biomedical engineering research facilities. In the computer lab, you’ll have the opportunity to develop hands-on skills using modern computer software to solve problems relevant to biomedical issues.
This biomedical engineering master’s course is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and is studied full-time over one year.
