Students will study the operation of modern business organizations and the role of financial institutions and capital markets in the global economy. They'll learn about statistical techniques that are employed in practice to investigate a firm’s value and asset price. Students will also explore contemporary debates in finance and financial markets.
They will have the opportunity to apply theory to real-world problems in finance and understand the difficulties involved in applying these theories.
