Master of Science - International Business and Finance
This is one of the degrees pathways on the MSc International Business group of degrees. This degree allows students to focus on finance as their specialism. Alongside the core international business modules, students will have the opportunity to explore such areas as global financial markets, financial statements and analysis, business financial forecasting and investment management.
From the core modules, students will learn to understand and analyze a range of international strategies and business relevant for the modern global economy. Students will also engage with key areas such as global risk analysis, global financial markets, international trade and global investment.
They will study a core project module. As part of this, students can undertake a global internship, work on an independent project with an organization, or work on their own project independently.
When students start they join the 2 week Foundation Program where they will learn more about all of Dundee's business conversion degrees and their pathways. Students will make their final module choices and establish which degree pathway is right for them and their career. At the same time, students will be building their network of friends who will support them socially and with their studies while at Dundee.
International Business is about learning worldwide business knowledge. Many business principles and practises are common across the world and our degrees will help you understand what these are and why they have been adopted internationally. We will also give you an understanding of how these business principles and practises vary in different countries, helping to prepare you for your business career.
This degree gives a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive foundation and subsequent depth in the area of international finance. This programme is ideal for those whose career objectives lie broadly within the financial services sector or finance-related functions within the corporate sector.
