COURSE OVERVIEW
Interested in being an influencer in a major corporation? Or mentoring people to overcome challenging situations at work? Or perhaps you want to coach leaders of charities and public organisations?Business psychology is an emerging topic in the working world. Performance, excellence, talent management, mental health – they’re not just buzzwords, they’re driving a new approach to doing business.
This unique course lets you combine your interests in human behaviour and business operations. You don’t need any psychology or business knowledge when you join us – just curiosity and a willingness to learn. We’ll go over everything from scratch, introducing you to the business environment, and helping you develop the academic and professional skills you’ll need to succeed.
A fresh course for an emerging field
Cognitive psychology. Social psychology. Decision making. Fairness at work. The course covers a huge range of topics across business and psychology.
But despite the broad scope, you’ll find a very rounded approach to the subject. We’ve designed the curriculum to train you for work as a business psychologist – it’s not a joint business and psychology degree run by two different departments. Learn from our experts and discover how you can fit in to this exciting field.
Put your career first
We help you learn the practical skills you’ll need for the future. For example, in the Psychology in Practice module you’ll learn how to manage client relationships, identify problems and come up with solutions. It’s a great way to test the waters of a consultancy career.
In your final year you’ll design your own project around a challenge. Collect and analyse data and use your creativity to solve the issue – just like you would in the working world.

COURSE INFORMATION
From digital skills to strategic management, the course covers a wide range of topics. We’ve made sure each unit is taught by a real expert in the subject – whether that’s a financial whizz from our business school or a social psychologist from our psychology department.
But more important than the range of subjects, is the way they join up. This is one of the few courses in the UK dedicated to business psychology (not business and psychology), so everything is geared towards your future career.
Depending on your ambitions, you can also personalise the course with our optional units. Maybe you’re interested in coaching? Or passionate about diversity in the workplace? Choose subjects around your interests, and even complete your research project in that area.
You will enrol on the three-year course which will give you the flexibility when you start your studies to choose a year on placement or to study abroad, so you would complete your degree over four years if you chose this option.

My name is Kavisha Prince Anthony, and I always had a dream of studying abroad. Thankfully, that dream came to life since I applied to the Study Advisor. I was able to receive my visa within four days. I also had some visa refusals in the past; I had about six UK visa refusals in the past, but thankfully, it was not an issue since the Study Advisor was able to make things work this time. I highly recommend Study Advisor for your dreams of going abroad, whether it be the UK or any other European country there is.
