The program builds a solid foundation in general management and deepens your knowledge of global business. Through an in-depth analytical approach, you will learn to critically assess current trends and theories in management. Furthermore, you will gain a thorough understanding of the social, political and economic factors which impact global business and discover how information technology and innovation are shaping the world, preparing you for the challenges of the future.
A comprehensive curriculum. The program’s multidisciplinary curriculum integrates ethics, business intelligence, sustainability, new media, and economics alongside general management coursework. A special focus on personal development, organizational psychology, conflict management, and leadership skills instills the personal and social competences required for success in a world facing global competition and constant change. It provides you with a comprehensive framework in research methods and management, as well as field-specific content in economics and research methods, integrated management, innovation, leadership and personal skills, marketing, social psychology, and sustainability. In addition to a comprehensive management education, you can add another skill set with an optional Enrichment Course specialization.

MSc in Management students have the option to focus on one of six specialization areas. A minimum of 15 ECTS points must be completed from one specialization area in order to qualify for a certificate, and an additional 3 ECTS can be completed from another area of specialization. For a general MSc in Management, students must complete 18 ECTS points made up from elective courses offered in any of the five specializations. *Courses may not be offered every year.

The Industry Excellence Program pairs top students of the MSc programs with senior representatives of Austrian and international companies for on-the job experience in your chosen field. Student clubs for every interest. At MU we want our students to feel at home! The MU Club program aims to connect students who share the same interests and passions by encouraging them to join clubs and found their own. Clubs such as the MU Football Club, the Wine Society and the Hotel organize events that are open to the entire MU community, encouraging students to spend time with their peers doing what they enjoy the most. Sports on Kahlenberg. The Modul campus offers an ideal environment for outdoor sports and recreation. The campus borders the Vienna Woods, a large forest with excellent biking and hiking trails which even offers sledding in the winter. A challenging climbing trail and a relaxing public swimming area with a scenic view over Vienna are a mere 10 minutes away.
