If you’re working, or want to work, in residential and community-based health, social care, and related settings, then this Health and Social Care top-up course is for you.
It offers an ideal progression from your HND or Foundation Degree (or equivalent Level 5 qualification) in health or social care (or a related subject).
You’ll develop an awareness of the changing political, philosophical, economic, cultural and social contexts of health and social care services. You’ll also be encouraged to look at the current health and social care quality and performance agendas.

Course delivery
Following the pandemic, we have found that some courses benefit from a blended learning and teaching approach. Therefore, the majority of your teaching will be face-to-face on campus aside from a small amount of online teaching where we have learnt it works best.

With a BSc in Health and Social Care you can pursue a growing range of non-vocational careers in a variety of health and social care roles both within the state and private sector.
