So being able to communicate with diverse groups will prepare you to meet the challenges of the changing global landscape.
You can study the BA International Business Communication with either French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Russian. The course is global in its outlook and differs from the more traditional business degrees. We focus on equipping tri-lingual international students with transferable skills, knowledge and understanding. Preparing you for a career in an increasingly changing and diverse global world of work.
This Year 3 direct entry course is underpinned by four core themes:
- English Language appropriacy for a variety of professional contexts
- Either French (A2 level*), Spanish (A2 level*), German (A2 level*), Chinese (Ab initio**), Japanese (Ab initio**), Korean (Ab initio**) and Russian (Ab initio**) Language and Society study
- Intercultural awareness and competence
- Business and management cognizance for the global world of work
*A2 level = you will have previously studied the language and have a good knowledge and fluency of it
**Ab initio = no prior knowledge of the language
