This course will equip you with the advanced knowledge and skills you need for a career in global journalism. You'll gain sought-after expertise in print, broadcast, magazine and online reporting, and also focus on photography and visualisation. While doing so, you'll consider the contemporary issues that are faced by the global media.

The MA promotes self-directed study through a programme of work, where students apply the learning experienced in the earlier stages of the course to either research leading to a portfolio of journalistic products or to a substantial piece of written research in the form of a dissertation.
