This course is taught face-to-face at one of our UK campuses.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of our published course information. However, our programmes are subject to ongoing review and development. Changes may be necessary to comply with the requirements of accrediting bodies or revisions to subject benchmarks statements. As well as to keep courses updated and contemporary, or as a result of student feedback. We reserve the right to make variations if we consider such action to be necessary or in the best interests of students.
Future careers
As well as going on to become practising fine artists, our graduates take up jobs in the creative industries, work on public realm projects and take positions in education, including lecturing and research.
Scholarships and bursaries
We have a wide range of scholarships, bursaries and funds available to help support you whilst studying with us.
Learning and assessment
Teaching and learning is through lectures, seminars, and screenings, presentations, group and individual tutorials. You’ll also undertake a professional practice programme delivered by research staff, visiting artists, lecturers, curators, funding agencies and representatives from public arts, administrators and regional arts associations when available.
All students are allocated an individual supervisor that fits their chosen fine art project and contextual study.
If you choose the part-time route, we’ll expect to see you on average one day a week and possibly two, depending on the semester. You’ll also need to attend individual tutorials with supervisors.
You’ll be assessed as you journey through each module and its learning outcomes and components. Your MA fine art project and the contextual report will be graded in percentage terms and you’ll present both in a public venue at the University or an alternative space.

My name is Kavisha Prince Anthony, and I always had a dream of studying abroad. Thankfully, that dream came to life since I applied to the Study Advisor. I was able to receive my visa within four days. I also had some visa refusals in the past; I had about six UK visa refusals in the past, but thankfully, it was not an issue since the Study Advisor was able to make things work this time. I highly recommend Study Advisor for your dreams of going abroad, whether it be the UK or any other European country there is.
