Course delivery
Following the pandemic, we have found that some courses benefit from a blended learning and teaching approach. Therefore, the majority of your teaching will be face-to-face on campus aside from a small amount of online teaching where we have learnt it works best.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of our published course information. However, our programmes are subject to ongoing review and development. Changing circumstances may cause alteration to, or the cancellation of, courses. Changes may be necessary to comply with the requirements of accrediting bodies or revisions to subject benchmarks statements. As well as to keep courses updated and contemporary, or as a result of student feedback. We reserve the right to make variations if we consider such action to be necessary or in the best interests of students.
Future careers
Our Clinical Psychology BSc (Hons) degree not only offers a vital step in the path toward a career in professional clinical practice, but can also offer a route into a range of other specialisms across all areas of psychology - not just health and social care settings.
This is a degree designed to offer you a clear route towards a career as a Clinical Psychologist. As such, it offers the perfect foundation for the next steps – whether that’s our own MSc in Applied Clinical Psychology, or perhaps a role that could support later training as part of a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. You may also look ahead to a role as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist or Research Assistant or, with further training, join a mental health team or work within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
The job prospects for psychology graduates in general are excellent. Today, you’ll find our graduates working across a wide range of sectors, from education and business, to industry, NHS and related health providers.
While you’re studying with us, we’ll offer a range of opportunities to boost your employability. Whether this is a placement module or placement year between your second and final years, or studying abroad with one of our partner institutions across Europe, the US or Asia, you will be given opportunities to gain vital knowledge, workplace experience and practical skills that will enhance your employment prospects.
We also offer you the chance to participate in one of the largest paid research intern schemes in the UK. This allows you to work on cutting-edge research projects over the summer. As well as developing your knowledge and skills, these can often lead to conference papers, peer-reviewed journal articles and, in some cases, trips to present the work overseas.

My name is Kavisha Prince Anthony, and I always had a dream of studying abroad. Thankfully, that dream came to life since I applied to the Study Advisor. I was able to receive my visa within four days. I also had some visa refusals in the past; I had about six UK visa refusals in the past, but thankfully, it was not an issue since the Study Advisor was able to make things work this time. I highly recommend Study Advisor for your dreams of going abroad, whether it be the UK or any other European country there is.
