Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an honours programme. It’s a great stepping stone to a full degree.

The cyber security sector is facing a significant skills gap at a time when threats and the consequences of inadequate security are increasing, so your skills will be in high demand.

You’ll gain skills in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in computer networks and systems, as well as learning how to protect them against hacker attacks.

On our Cyber Security Foundation Entry degree you’ll be able to turn your interest in programming computer networks and security into a rewarding career.

You could go on to be a Security Consultant, Ethical Hacker / Penetration tester, Secure System Architect or Security Engineer. Or you could work as a Security Research Assistant, Forensic Investigator or Consultant. This course could also open doors to rewarding careers in the Police, IT System Management or as a Network Administrator.
