Tourism HR Canada projects the tourism workforce in Canada will grow to 2.1 million jobs, exposing a labour and skills shortage in more than 400 job types in accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, entertainment and travel services. Tourism HR Canada has honoured Hospitality – Hotel Operations Management two-year diploma program and Hospitality and Tourism Administration three-year advanced diploma program with its SMART + Premium status, which means the programs exceed basic tourism industry standards.
