A BRAND-NEW CAMPUS
It’s planned that on-campus teaching for this course will start at Oxstalls in September 2024, then transfer to the new City Campus in Gloucester in the 2024-25 academic year. This provides time to ensure a smooth transition and familiarisation with the new facilities for all.
The vibrant new City Campus will be at the heart of the regeneration of Gloucester city centre. It will bring an iconic building back to life as a modern centre for teaching, learning and community partnerships and provide an excellent student experience.
STUDY STYLE
The teaching programme is dynamic, interactive, and experiential. Engaging in academic and applied learning, this teaching programme will provide you with a balance of theoretical frameworks and interactive practical work experiences in social work and social care settings.
You’ll engage in studies that provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills and theoretical frameworks that inform all areas of social work practice with adults and children.
With emphasis on experiential learning, your studies will include working in small tutorial and seminar groups, simulations, role play, group work and opportunities to develop reflective and critical debate.
This course is specifically designed for people who want to qualify and practice as a professional social worker in England. My name is Kavisha Prince Anthony, and I always had a dream of studying abroad. Thankfully, that dream came to life since I applied to the Study Advisor. I was able to receive my visa within four days. I also had some visa refusals in the past; I had about six UK visa refusals in the past, but thankfully, it was not an issue since the Study Advisor was able to make things work this time. I highly recommend Study Advisor for your dreams of going abroad, whether it be the UK or any other European country there is.
