How will I learn during the International Business Management BSc (Hons) degree course?

Your studies begin with an introduction to the global business environment, key marketing principles and financial decision-making, before diving deeper into diverse topics including creativity and innovation, the digital economy, emerging economies and strategic management and internationalisation.

You’ll learn through techniques that include problem-based learning in the?experiential based modules. These address challenges from the real world?of business, giving you the opportunity to develop your own approach and come up with viable solutions.
 
Academics will support you through all taught sessions, as well as when you’re planning your independent study time. In your fourth year, you have a choice. You can write a?dissertation, for which we’ll encourage you to follow your own?interests related to international business and management, and answer a relevant research?question. Or, you can be part of a student group undertaking a consultancy project?on a real-world, client-based problem supported by the ?Faculty’s Business Clinic.
 
During the four years of your course, you’ll be assessed through exams, written assignments and reports, as well as individual and group?presentations. Your tutors will explain in detail how the marking works before you tackle your assignment. That way you’ll fully understand what’s?expected of?you before you start.
