WHAT IS EDUCATION MA?
Read moreThe MA Education is part of a suite of 3 routes for those with a continuing interest in developing their theory and practice in Education. Through this MA you will share sessions with those on the MA Inclusive Education and MA Education, Ethics and Leadership routes. This will support you to develop your understanding of different perspectives, developing your practice and critical thinking as you explore a range of key areas in education. This Master’s course provides education practitioners and policymakers from third and private sector organisations with key knowledge, skills and abilities. We’ll support you in sustaining and enhancing the effectiveness of your practice to pursue your career aspirations.
The range of modules which form this MA Education route will enable you to focus and specialise, with choices built into the assessment requirements. Study will include topics such as pedagogy, ethics in education, education policy, transformational education, the changing field in contemporary education, as well as approaches to educational research. Further information about this is available below. In the final stage of the Master’s you’ll complete a dissertation focusing on your choice of research topic within the field of education.

You’ll be taught in lectures (including guest lecturers), seminars and workshops at our Francis Close Hall campus in Cheltenham. Contributing your own ideas and participation in discussions during sessions are significant elements within the course. You’ll be assessed 100% by coursework.

My name is Kavisha Prince Anthony, and I always had a dream of studying abroad. Thankfully, that dream came to life since I applied to the Study Advisor. I was able to receive my visa within four days. I also had some visa refusals in the past; I had about six UK visa refusals in the past, but thankfully, it was not an issue since the Study Advisor was able to make things work this time. I highly recommend Study Advisor for your dreams of going abroad, whether it be the UK or any other European country there is.
