IDegree (Hybrid) Program at Woosong University
Program Overview
The IDegree Program at the Endicott College of International Studies is a flexible, modern educational model designed to tear down traditional barriers to graduation. It provides a hybrid learning experience where students can explore multiple concentrations from the comfort of their own home while acquiring full university credit. The program is structured to overcome regional recruitment biases and provide students with the pliability needed for diverse career selections in a changing industrial ecosystem.
Semester-by-Semester Curriculum
The first two years are structured around STEM education, soft skill development, and creative thinking to provide a solid base of knowledge.
- 1st Semester (19 Credits): Focuses on foundational social responsibility, diversity, and technical basics. Courses include Moral, Ethical and Social Responsibility, Computer Graphics and UX Design, Linear Algebra, and Calculus.
- 2nd Semester (19 Credits): Shifts toward reasoning and mental health alongside core sciences. Courses include Environmental Ethics, Writing and Reasoning, Statistics with Software Tools, and Introduction to Psychology.
- 3rd Semester (19 Credits): Concentrates on digital and analytical tools. Courses include Data Visualization, Python I, Macroeconomics, and Consulting Processes.
- 4th Semester: This is the dedicated specialization phase where students highlight a specific field in preparation for transfer.
4th Semester Specialization
In the fourth semester, students select one of three specific tracks to align with their future major:
- Option 1: Business and Social Science: Includes Microeconomics, Principles of Marketing, and Financial Management.
- Option 2: Software & IT: Focuses on Algorithms, Databases, Python Programming, and Machine Learning.
- Option 3: Liberal Arts & Sciences: Allows students to choose from existing courses based on specific academic guidelines.
3rd Year Advanced Option: Study in Korea
After completing the first two years (four semesters) online, students have the option to transfer to the Woosong University campus in South Korea to complete their degree face-to-face. Advanced programs available at Woosong include:

Transfer Options: 50+ Worldwide Destinations
The IDegree is designed as a global gateway, allowing students to transfer their earned credits—covering up to 50% of a bachelor's degree—to one of over 50 worldwide study destinations. This "2+2" model (2 years online + 2 years study abroad) allows students to finish their undergraduate degree in person at a global partner university of their choice.
