Course Overview
The Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) at the School of Design & Architecture (MAHE Dubai) is a 5-year full-time program that integrates theory, technical rigour, and creative design. It fosters a user-centred approach drawing on architectural, interior, and landscape design perspectives. Through rigorous studio work, design reviews, site visits, workshops, and study tours, students acquire competencies in functional planning, aesthetic expression, and sustainable spatial solutions in built environments
Program Accreditation
The BArch in Dubai is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), meeting the academic standards for Associate Membership (ACIAT). This recognition makes graduates eligible for exemptions during the MCIAT Professional Assessment, helping them progress toward Chartered Architectural Technologist status
The BArch Program is accredited by the Council of Architecture, India; the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA); and the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), UK.
These accreditations ensure the program meets rigorous international standards, offering students global recognition and enhanced career opportunities. Graduates qualify for CIAT’s Associate membership (ACIAT) and receive exemptions toward the Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) certification, while also aligning with RIBA’s professional standards for future architectural pathways.
