Programmer Objectives

MDIS College is recognized as a registered school of Cambridge Assessment International Education, the only exam board wholly owned by a world-leading university, the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge IGCSE is one of the world’s most popular international qualifications for students. It is recognized as a reliable record of attainment for entry into universities and colleges worldwide, and is an international academic passport to progression and success.

Cambridge IGCSE is comparable to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level system and the United Kingdom’s General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). Cambridge IGCSE examinations are held twice a year (May/June and Oct/Nov) and candidates are to register with MDIS College before the closing dates.

• International Student: non-tuition fees include MDIS membership fee, experience workshop, course material, medical insurance, medical outpatient insurance, Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) insurance, international students administrative and consultation fee, internal examination administrative fee.
• Application fee is non-refundable.
   

Admission Requirements

12 Months (Year 7)

• Completed at least Primary Six Education / Year 6 or equivalent
• Minimum age: 12 years old
• Language Proficiency: Completed Primary Six English / Year 6 English / Pass MDIS Certificate in English (CIE) Level 1 or equivalent

12 Months (Year 8)

• Completed at least Secondary One Education / Year 7 or equivalent
• Minimum age: 13 years old
• Language Proficiency: Completed Secondary One English / Year 7 English / Pass MDIS Certificate in English (CIE) Level 1 or equivalent

12 Months (Year 10)

• Completed at least Secondary Three Education / Year 9 or equivalent
• Minimum age: 14 years old
• Language Proficiency: Completed Secondary Three English / Year 9 English / Certificate in English (CIE) or equivalent / IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS

24 Months (Upper Secondary)

• Completed at least Secondary Two Education / Year 8 or equivalent
• Minimum age: 13 years old
• Language Proficiency: Completed Secondary Two English / Year 8 English / Certificate in English (CIE) or equivalent / IELTS score of 4.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS
