Program Overview

The BTech in Civil Engineering is a full-time, four-year undergraduate degree designed to develop civil engineers with strong theoretical foundations and practical design skills. Students learn to design and manage infrastructure projects—such as buildings, roads, bridges, tunnels, rail systems, water reservoirs, drainage, and more—through a curriculum blending engineering principles, CAD-based design, and site work.

Accrediation

MAHE Dubai is licensed by KHDA (Knowledge & Human Development Authority) in Dubai and operates under approval from India’s University Grants Commission (UGC). Graduates receive an Indian–awarded degree from MAHE, a recognized Institution of Eminence with NAAC A++ accreditation and high ranks in national frameworks. However, note: the program is not accredited by the UAE Federal Ministry of Education (MOE), which in some cases may limit eligibility for certain government positions—particularly in Abu Dhabi.

Programme Structure

• Duration: 4 years (8 semesters), full-time day program.

• Curriculum: Core subjects include structural, geotechnical, transportation, environmental, water resources, building construction, surveying, and materials science. Students also choose from various minor specializations such as Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Management, and Computational Mathematics 

• Learning Experience: Combines classroom lecture, CAD/design studios, labs, field visits, internships, industrial projects, semester?abroad opportunities, and faculty mentoring

• Facilities: Includes well-equipped labs for material testing, CAD/CAM, surveying—plus dedicated R&D labs (KEF) with AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and materials testing systems

Graduates are prepared for diverse roles across infrastructure, design, and project management, including:
