Programmer Objectives

The Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) is designed for students of age 14 years old and above, who aspire to acquire a qualification that is recognized by many countries and progress to higher education and vocational studies.

Upon completion of the course, students will sit for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) which is conducted jointly by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).

The GCE O-Level system is equivalent to the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examination taken by students in the United Kingdom.

• Local Students: non-tuition fees include MDIS membership fee, experience workshop, course material, medical insurance, Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) insurance, internal examination administrative fee.
• International Student: non-tuition fees include MDIS membership fee, experience workshop, course material, medical insurance, medical outpatient insurance, Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) insurance, international students administrative and consultation fee, internal examination administrative fee.
• Application fee is non-refundable.
   

Admission Requirements

10 Months

• Completed at least Secondary 3 Education / Year 9 or equivalent
• Minimum Age: 15 (as at 1st Jan of the year of GCE ‘O’ Level examinations)
• Language Proficiency: Secondary 3 English / Certificate in English or equivalent / IELTS 5.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS

16 Months

• Completed at least Secondary 3 education or equivalent
• Minimum Age: 15 (as at 1st Jan of the year of GCE ‘O’ Level examinations)
• Language Proficiency: Secondary 3 English / Certificate in English or equivalent / IELTS 5.0 or equivalent / Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS

24 Months

• Completed at least Secondary Two Education / Year 8 or equivalent
• Minimum Age: 14
• Language Proficiency: Completed Secondary Two English / Year 8 English / MDIS Certificate in English (CIE) or equivalent
