The Diploma in Cosmetics programmer at UoC is a 2 year and 6 months course designed for students to become professionally trained in knowledge and skills related to the formulation and usage of cosmetic. The programmer's objectives is to produce graduates who have comprehensive understanding on the principles of cosmetic preparation, formulation, evaluation and safety. The programmer also aims to produce graduates who can become entrepreneurs in the cosmetics and beauty industry.
STUDENTS WILL BE WELL EQUIPPED TO SEEK THE FOLLOWING CAREERS:
. Cosmetic Formulation Assistant.
. Cosmetic Safety & Evaluation Assistant.
. Cosmetic Regulatory Assistant.
. Cosmetic Marketer.
. Cosmetic & Beauty Entrepreneur.
With further studies and advance training, graduate can qualify to be Cosmetic Scientist, Formulator, Evaluator, Regulator or Marketer.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All applicants, except those with a degree qualification in art or humanities, must have passed and attained a minimum of the following:
Examinations Requirement
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM); or Pass with 3 Credits in any subjects.
General Certificate of Education Ordinary (“O”) levels
Pass in English
AND
Higher School Certificate level or its equivalent:
Other Equavalent QualificationAny qualification recognized by Malaysian Government/University Senate
Exit Requirements:
All applicants shall have attained a minimum of BAND 3 in the MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ENGLIST TEST (MUET) or TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS 6.0 with a minimum band of 5.5 for Writing, Reading, Listening/Speaking (WRLS).
Malaysian applicants shall have also attained a CREDIT IN BAHASA MALAYSIA AND ENGLISH at SPM or its equivalent
