Course overview
This top-up legal studies qualification is ideal if you have a level 5 (or equivalent) qualification/ or are a graduate in a non-UK law or law-related discipline looking to obtain a grounding in areas of UK law and policy relevant to your career aspirations.
You develop as a confident and independent learner, able to evidence knowledge and skills in areas relating to international trade, corporate and employment law as well as transferable skills relating to presentation, research and reflection. You gain an understanding of the principles and policies underpinning key areas of law and policy, and wider skills which can be used in the workplace.
Please note that you will not obtain a qualifying law degree on completion of this course.

This top-up qualification is aimed at anyone wanting the benefits of a grounding in areas of law and policy relevant to your career aspirations. You would be able to evidence knowledge and skills in areas relating to international trade, corporate and employment law as well as transferable skills relating to presentation, research and reflection. Additionally, you obtain a UK law qualification thus assisting you in obtaining entry to UK law-based masters programmes which require a UK law qualification as part of their entry criteria.
